Solution
By facilitating connections and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams on projects of the user's choosing, users will have an easier time engaging in behaviours that ultimately help them land a job.
Iterations

🥑
🥑
Removed the ability to request joining a project
Removed the ability to accept or reject users from a team/ project.

A new Tech Professional is likely to be applying to jobs like crazy, we want to remove any additional unnecessary stress or worry while also making the platform more inclusive.

🥑
🥑
Improved the labelling for external links.

external link icons are not very consistent across the web, labeling makes it easier for the user to know what to expect.

Moved external link under the project brief

fits with the flow of a user's behaviour better. A user is more likely to read a description before deciding to tap on an external link.
Next Steps

🥑
🥑
🥑
Add the ability to connect with users
Add a project specific chat
Add in-app voice and/or video conferencing

🥑
Include badges and trophies for the number and different kinds of projects the user collaborates on.

This will help gamify the "hussle" and make things like networking a lot more fun and engaging.
🥑
🥑
This platform would be free to all users to start and once the user-base is big enough, we would like to explore the monetization opportunity of integrating private communities that are school/bootcamp specific.
